My role is Engine Integration Engineer as a contract position through ICONMA for John Deere. My position duties involve configuring engine “options”, maintaining Bills of Materials, creating ECP/ECN/ECM’s to push changes of to Bills of materials for updates, and reviewing parts availability in preparation for prototype and limited production builds.
- Maintain Engine BOM’s
- Collaborate with Application Engineer (JDPS) and “Integration” Engineers (Vehicle side ex. 5000 Series Tractor) to provide information for on-engine components and assist in packaging for engine auxiliarys
- Managing process flow of Engine BOM through Design Center to Factory
- Working with Factory Engineers and various other engineers at PEC (CI, Aftertreatment, Design Engineers, Application Engineers) to resolve build issues and make changes to the Engine
