My mechatronics course was a very enjoyable experience. Our entire course was focused on building a robot and writing code for it. Our professor also spent a fair bit of time teaching us tools for this project and encouraged us to explore these on our own time. A great deal of this process was the use of reference manuals for various chips that are on the printed circuit board, as well as information and examples for coding structures.
